Baker Style
|
Hello, I read about the Baker style of architecture and the concept behind it, which is being the simplicity, practical, economic, environmental friendly, and healthy living.
This was about 20 years back, I am 56 now, live in the NCR region between Delhi and Ghaziabad, UP in a flat on the 11 floor with a terrace as big as the covered area of the flat which is about 1200 sq.ft.
My wife and I have had enough of metro living and we can earn our living using internet as I am into communications and my wife is a author and a journalist.
My friend of long years has also decided to return to his roots in Gujarat. This I felt is a good thing to do and what best it could be to spend the rest of our lives closr to nature giving back to the community in some way or other.
So the idea of getting away and live in a space which is cost effective and spacious enough to have my photo studio with atleast four bed rooms, a large study/office with a open kitchenenough to have a six seater bench/table for dining.
I have no clue when and where in Gujarat I will look for land. We love animals, greenery, kitchen gardens and ouit door games.
The place should be self sustainable in terms of power for lighting and cooking like more dependence on solar and bio gas.
This is our dream, and I highly appreciate you help.
